17.04.12 - New distributor - SATURN MARINE
Wave is proud to announce a new Wavestream distributor has been commissioned in New Zealand. Saturn Marine based in Marlborough South Island is owned and managed by Bob Doyle, ex International Sales Director of Halyard Marine in the UK. Bob's past experience in the marine industry and in particular with promoting Wavestream in the UK over a 12 year period means much experience and product knowledge will be available to promote Wavestream in the region.
11.11.11 - Wave International presents its latest innovation the Wavebrite grey water filter system
Suitable for a wide range of boats, Wavebrite is a unique filter unit that processes grey water from the source to overboard. Clean water is then discharged with no need for grey water holding tanks, making for less weight and significantly reducing engine emissions and protecting the environment. Through its collaboration with Whale Pumps, Wave has been able to develop Wavebrite using a unique filter design that incorporates several media and flow technologies. The system is modular and each component can be installed remotely for ease of installation and reduction of space required, is available in many different sizes, and can be purchased in multiple sets to suit an array of different vessels.

Wave International is proud to announce the appointment of BAITRA, S.L., a company that specialises in the marketing and distribution of naval accessories and quality equipment for the building and repair of both sports and professional boats, as well as for other areas of the marine industry in general to promote and distribute its Wavestream systems in Spain

Wave International is proud to announce the appointment of SEIMI to distribute their products in France. SEIMI is a trading company specialising in hydraulic and electrical marine equipment that started in 1969. SEIMI has become a leader in professional marine equipment supply and has developed strong relationships with their customers in the marine industry in France.

21.09.10 - EU Recreational Craft Directive
Wave International is pleased to announce that its range of Wavestream bilge filters are officially Recommended For Use (RFU), in all boats built to the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD). The prestigious recognition comes just six months after the renowned bilge filters received official RCD Approval. Wavestream bilge filters have been identified as a cost effective and environmentally friendly way for leisure and commercial boat owners to prevent oily bilge water from being discharged overboard. In a move to protect the effect of oil and diesel on the environment, anyone pumping oily water out of a bilge is now in breach of RCD regulations throughout the EU, and even small quantities discharged into the water can carry severe penalties for boaters.
